Jobs Now! Overview
Overview . Program Plan . Investors . Team
The Innovation Valley is a great place to do business: We have an educated work force, state-of-the-art technology, a strong business environment and a central location. But in an increasingly competitive global economy, our ability to help create a healthy business climate and generate new wealth is critical to the region's future. Scores of communities are investing millions of dollars to start, grow and attract new companies to their respective regions, and our economic development organizations need the same support to help this region compete.
Jobs Now! is the community response that allows us to level the playing field.
Jobs Now! is the funding mechanism that helps the Innovation Valley turn its advantages into new jobs and investment by supporting a unified, regional economic development program.
This program emanates from a plan which is implmemented by the Jobs Now! Partners: The East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, The Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership and The Oak Ridge Economic Partnership. By utilizing the collective budgets and staff of the partners, the program is producing better results with more efficiency.
We're focused on accountability, results and measurable goals. Quarterly briefings will update investors on Jobs Now! activities and results - and regular progress reports will be released to the region's media and through this website.
